Together, we can make a difference!

Bring home you’re next best friend!

Adopting is one of the best things you can do.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profit before animal welfare.

  • Willow

    Meet Willow!

Willow was adopted from another rescue about 3 years ago as a young adult. She’s had a very loved life for the last 3 years, but it has been determined it is in her best interest to find a more ideal home for her.

Willow has a great temperament—she’s friendly, smart, and loves being around other dogs her size. She’s a quick learner, knows basic commands, and loves her vehicle rides. She especially enjoys the company of men and has been excellent with kids, mine included. Oh and, playing ball is her favorite!

Willow is kennel trained, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. While she’s generally a good listener and obeys commands, she does have some separation anxiety, so she may need a bit of extra attention in new situations or when left alone.

I want to touch a little more on her anxiety……I had the pleasure of having Willow in my care for a few weeks, it has been over a year ago now…..at the beginning of her stay she was a bit anxious, however all it took for her to feel more comfortable and more sure of herself was a schedule. Once she knew when she could expect exercise time, companionship time, consistent feeding times, she melted right in like she’d been part of my family her whole life. This is an exceptional dog and though we are upfront and honest about any and all of our shelter dog’s issues, I don’t want that specific word anxiety to make anyone miss out on this exceptional dog so I wanted to make sure to share my first hand experience with her.

While Willow has been living with a family cat, we would recommend monitoring her closely around cats and smaller dogs. It’s important to make sure she’s introduced properly to new furry friends.

If you're looking for a loving, loyal dog who enjoys being part of the family, Willow could be a great match for you! She’s ready for a new chapter and can’t wait to find her forever home.

  • Annie

She is a stray that no one claimed. We estimate her age to be 1 1/2 years.

It is unknown how long she wandered, she was really thin when she was found and had a noticeable respiratory infection that needed to be treated.

She is currently in a foster home getting the care and treatment she needs to get healthy. Once she is cleared of the infection, she will be spayed.

She is so very loving, very obedient, eager to learn new things……she is just absolutely the best girl!!
